A Pluperfect Gift ('Better than a perfect' gift )
The language used in the book is simple and lucid which will tug one gently closer to the book. Its absolutely a simple yet promising content with ups and lows full of mystery and adventure. The book's prologue is extremely intriguing which will keep you attached to the book.
It is a love story of Samar and Arisha. They came together by a very interesting way and that was by time. But ultimately TIME itself stood against them. The novel tells us about their love story and how by peculiar mannerisms they won their love over time.
Another part of the book is supernatural abilities which very few or worthy enough (realisation comes with TIME) attain. Its becomes a damn interesting read when it comes to the part of sacrifice and rage. This love story is above all an exception. Life, Love and Time is well depicted in this book.
Samar' s character is a combination of all the traits a man is said to possess. He had a promising career in the merchant navy and was looking forward to his next sailing assignment when Arisha happened. Its a conflict with love and time. Arisha is a girl with certain qualities you may like or may not which absolutely depends on oneself. The most extraordinary things happen to common masses sometimes and that is what happens with SAMAR.
There is a simplicity in the setting
which Shalabh has done very wonderfully. Now coming to the climax it is intriguing but as said earlier people will interpret it in many ways. In one word its a must read and once you finish with this book, it will be as if you grab the next one around you and suggest this book. The plots are very well connected with each other. The epilogue does have a nice end and will be impactful on the readers. It is an emotional roller coaster ride!
Shalabh Bansal has a long way to go and he has portrayed his work as one of the best novels. The cover is a fantasy and will definitely spark your mind.
