Just Somewhat Like This

Just somewhat like this
It happened once when you
Took my scarf away and I ran crying behind you,
You picked me up on your lap
And I struggled to get down
Since you did not listen to what I wanted.

I was left awestruck when,
You pulled my cheeks and I looked
With anger in your eyes,
Without any dismay you smiled at me.
The skyline has a limit for me,
But for you it had always been unending.

Get down from my head,
I want to forget you,
I want to leave my past
And run into the future.
But how dare you be the colour of my blood?
How dare you take my crying soul to sleep?

I dare to magic your crying soul to sleep.
I dare to hold your hand while you cross,
What are you waiting for?
Can't you just say that I am the life of your blood?
I woke up from the dream with sweat all over,
Your monologue echoed.

I walked down the river bed and threw stones into it,
I talk to you when no one's around,
Till today there is a you beside every me,
I nowadays stretch my hands myself for you to hold,
Since I know,
Father I can never forget you.
